How much would it cost me a month to keep an iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and the iPhone 5s?

And can you tell me what specifically I'm paying for ex.talking and text etc.

Added (1). I have tried to look it up but I get different numbers every time. I'm trying to ask someone who has one.

Look it up! Lazy bones!

It depends on the service provider you choose, they all have different rates. Some have smartphone surcharges and some do not.

I have a family account with T-Mobile with four lines. Three of those lines are now iPhones (I got an iPhone earlier this year and our two teens got iPhones a week or so ago). My husband uses a non-smartphone.

T-Mobile's plans are $50 for one line or $80 for two lines and then after that, each additional line is $10 a month. They no longer charge smartphone surcharges, and the plan includes unlimited talk, text and data.

The data is capped at 500 mb per line of high speed access. After 500 mb, that line can still do things such as play games, Facebook, check email, go to websites. However, it is slowed down and makes doing other things such as downloading apps or music or watching videos on YouTube impossible.

I can tell you that my teens have already reached that 500 mb limit on their phones even though they have not had them two weeks yet and they have not yet downloaded music and they do not use YouTube.

There are ways around that problem, though. We pay for additional data on one of the lines (they have a couple of options). If you have Wi-Fi access at home, school, work or out shopping (many places offer free Wi-Fi access) then you can do things that use a lot of data via Wi-Fi.

The phone itself costs extra- some companies have subsidies that make what you pay up front for the phone less, but their rates are higher as a result. T-Mobile no longer offers such subsidies. You must either pay for the phone up front or, if you qualify, you can get a payment installments. I paid for my iPhone 5 up front, but my teens are each paying for their 5c themselves. The downpayment was less than $50 (I do not remember the exact amount) and they have installments of $20 a month for 24 months. Since their line on our account is $10 a month, that means that for the service and the phone itself they are paying $30 a month or $1 a day (each).

It depends on which carrier you plan to go with & what options you take when picking out the plan. Too many variables to list.

  • What would be the average cost per month for a family plan on AT&T? For 2 people with smart phones, one with an iphone and one with a droid, and we would both have the lowest internet cost (I believe its 25 dollars per phone). Also this wouldn't include the actual cost of buying the phones, I'm just talking about per month.
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • How much would it cost to cut one line from a family plan or would it be free? I have a Verizon IPhone 4 but I'm on a contract with a family plan. If I just cut off my line but keep my family's lines on, would it be free? Or would it cost $200? My plan is tot cut just my line with T-Mobile and go on a Verizon line without cutting my whole T-Mobile contract because my family will still have their lines with T-Mobile.
