How much would it cost to get my iPhone 5 replaced by Apple if my warranty has expired?
I went to the Apple store about my phone, they said they can replace it under warranty. But when I got home I checked my warranty and it's expired. So how much would it cost to get my phone replaced if my warranty is expired compared to if my warranty wasn't expired?
You're going to have to pay full price. I heard it's about $700 without a contract renewal. Iphones suck and they cost more. Get a high-end android instead… They're all cheaper and better. LG G3, Samsung galaxy s5, HTC One (m8) are all much, much better than any iphone and they all cost less.
Warranty=repair or replace for free. No warranty=full price or a new contract. You said 5. I have a 5. They came out in 2012. Applecare warranty only lasts one year so you haven't had a warranty is almost 2 years. So either repair at a local shop (Apple is to high) buy a used replacement, or start a new contract and begin all over again. Best luck.
