How much would it cost to get my iPhone home screen button fixed?
My iPhones homescreen button doesn't respond anymore unless I press on it really hard. It's not broken I think something might just be stuck. And I've had to use the assistive touch and it's a real pain in the ***. Anyways how much would it cost to get it fixed?
Try this first-
Go to the stocks app
Hold down the sleep/awake button at the too and HOLD IT DOWN until the (slide to power off) comes on
Let go of the top, and hold down the home button until it brings you back to the home screen.
This recalibrates the button. If it doesn't help, I suggest you get it fixed, or wait for the iPhone 5:)
Apple usally doesn't fix products, it replaces them. I would do what the other answer says, or wait for iPhone 5 this September. I you take it to another electronics store if you really want THAT iPhone fixed, maybe 50-100$
I'm using assistive touch because i refuse to pay $80 for having my home button fixed. Its a really simple fix, it shouldnt cost that much!
