How much zoom does the iPhone 5 camera have?

I've looked on the internet but nowhere really seems to say… I'm wondering what the digital zoom is on the iPhone 5, or if nobody knows that then how much was the zoom on the 4s? And was it good?

The pinch to zoom is only digital zoom, which produces the same effect if you blow the picture up and crop it in Photoshop.

None. Digital zoom does not count. It is the same as taking the picture and cropping it on a PC later. Digital zoom actually just decreases the number of megapixels used to take the picture.

Also the 5 has the same camera as the 4s, just with added sapphire glass.
