How smart is it to sell things on etsy?
I'm thinking about starting to sell things on esty, maybe iphone cases I design or small things like that. Do you think I could make a large profit from selling things like those?
It's a lot of hard work, plus you have to individually handle the packaging and shipping. It also gets confusing with all the personalized orders you need to keep track of. But if you have the time, patience, and commitment, then maybe it's a good job for you.
If you make a really popular item it could go well and you could make a lot of money, but I wouldn't make it a full time job.
If you have a marketable product, you could definitely make money using etsy to sell your good. However, its not going to just happen. I learned that the hard way. You have to market yourself and learn some SEO Etsy tricks. Luckily Etsy has a great community full or forums and blogs that can help you along the way.
