How to access Wi-Fi without the password?
Last year I received the ip address, subnet mask, router, dns and search domains all under DHCP, as well as the server and port number. After entering all the information into my iPod touch 4th gen. I could access the internet. I tried to do the same with my iPhone but it says I still need a password. I know for a fact that I did not enter a password the first time, so what exactly is different between the two occurrences? Was the first time some strange, impossible fluke?
You probably do not recall what you did. The wireless password is required unless the network was set up without one and was an insecure "open" one.
More information would be helpful. It is possible that the first time you connected you used a method known as "WPS." Via this method the device scans for the Wi-Fi information and it is provided by pushing a button on the router itself, which then sends out the info and connects the device to the network. To answer your question you can look for a button on your router usually marked "WPS." Press this button and then scan for Wi-Fi networks with your "I-device." If this does not work you can log on to your router admin page by typing the ip number of the default gateway in your web browser. Once you have access to the admin page of the router you should see options for setting up wireless networks, these vary by device. From the wireless network configuration page, tab, menu, etc… You can either see or reset the password to allow network or guest users access to the Wi-Fi network. Hope this helps, if not feel free to contact me directly.

- Wi-Fi password automatic access? Whenever I use my Wi-Fi on my iPhone, the browser redirects me to a browser to enter the password. Since it only gives me one hour of usage every time I enter my password, is there any shortcut that I can use to automatically enter the password and accept it whenever it redirects me?
- Lost password to Hotmail account, though I can access it from my iPhone? Basically I have lost my password. I also have no idea what the answer to the secret question is, or any of the other questions, so I can't reset the password. I can however access the account from my iPhone, but I would like to know what my password is. Is it possible to retrieve the password from my phone? Or perhaps some other way?
- Lost access on iphone and ipad after changing password on pc? After changing password, I have now lost all access to my yahoo email from my i-devices.
