How to activate new sim on used iphone 4?
Alright basically i found iphone4 nearly a two years now and till this day none came to collect it so i thought i might as well keep it and the issue is when i updated everything is alright except the sim card the original sim card that was in the phone is no longer available and i think it was orange and when i put in my sim it just says invalid sim and i can't do anything.
Added (1). Thanks for your response but should i call to Orange and tell them i found it and they might take it off me or something or they can't do it?
Are they(orange because i think orange was the original sim) really able to unlock it or should i call to my sim card provider which is o2 and tell them i found this phone and want it to work on o2?
Call service provider and activate sim to that phone or they may have that phone locked to certain provider
Download a program called redsn0w on that you will find an option that will unlock the phone and activate the SIM card at the same time.
- IPhone 5 broke, can I buy a used iPhone 4 and activate it? This may seem like a silly question, but I'm not that informed about cell phone plans really… I've had a iPhone 5 for the past year and a half through Verizon. It broke today. Like full on broke nto covered by insurance… I found a Verizon iPhone 4 for sale for like 70 bucks in great condition from someone on craigslist. If I buy that, can I go into Verizon with it and have them activate it for me and have it be my new phone? Does this make sense?

- If I buy a used iPhone 5, do I have to activate it on a special way? I will be buying a used iPhone 5 soon, and I wonder. Besides getting the nano sim, do I have to activate it with AT&T and Apple, or anything like that? Or do I just have to put in my nano sim?
- If I activate a used Verizon iPhone, how much is data? My aunt is going to give me her iphone 4s when she gets the new one, and I'm currently on my family's plan which is only shared mintues and unlimited text/pic messaging How much will I be forced to pay monthly and what will change with my plan once I activate the phone on my line?
