How to activate Verizon's mobile hotspot feature for the iPhone 5?
I'm on a share everything plan and would like to use the mobile hotspot. The mobile hotspot is no longer an extra charge, correct? It should be a free feature now, or so I have heard. How do I activate it online?
The first thing i did was call their 611 number. After being on hold for 10 minutes a rep helped me from there. She activated the hotspot that is included in my plan. I then rebooted the phone and tried to set it up once more. Once again it failed. She had me turn off my Wi-Fi and try again. This time the phone gave me the menu to start up my hot spot.
If you have the hot spot activated in your plan simply turn off the Wi-Fi and do it again. It takes no time at all.
- Will I receive data charges for using the hotspot feature on my iphone? I would like to use the internet on my laptop during a road trip. Can I connect to the internet using an Apple iPhone 4? If I do so, will I receive data charges on my iPhone or will this use up my monthly allowed data as per my monthly data plan?
- Will I be charged extra if I use personal hotspot on my iphone 4s? (T-mobile)? I have unlimited data. I've looked online, but can't find a definite answer. If I will be charged extra, will I be charged a certain amount per day/week?
- Tmobile mobile hotspot iPhone? I got the 30$ a month plan unlimited text and web on tmobile monthly 4g I'm using it on the iPhone I saw the mobile hotspot option and I used it and it worked fine will I get in trouble if I use it or will they charge me extra? Can they because monthly 4g is no contract
- T Mobile or Verizon. Should I pay T-Mobile 175.00 for an upgrade or 94.00 to Verizon for new phone? I want the iPhone 6s plus. I'm already with t mobile but there internet is a bit slow sometimes. Its the jump plan ill get. Ill pay 12.00 for 24 mo. And if i get a new phone they won't run my credit again. But with verizon they'll run my credit. Is pretty good. But i don't want anybody to really run my credit tho lower it. I'm not sure about verizon internet but the commercials looks pretty good. They bboth have unlimited internet. What should I do?
