How to add ringtone to my iphone?

I have two song clips already added to my iphone under the "music" section on my phone, but when I go into my settings, under sounds where you can select a ringtone, they arent there. I know its possible to add them, i did it when i first got my phone but can't remember how i did it.anyone know? Thanks

Added (1). I didn't buy the ringtone, it was a music file on my computer that i added to my iphone. I know its possible because i did it this way last time, i just don't remember the steps in between.

Probably cuz you didn't buy it as a ringtone but you bought it as a song

On itunes you have to buy a song, not under music but under ringtone. Then go to your settings>sounds> ringtone> and it will be there.

Where are they? What do I do?
