How to backup my iPhone 5 to the computer?
I got the iPhone 5 almost soon as it came out and I have a software update available now. I don't wanna allow it to do the update because my last phone deleted contacts and pictures and everything when I updated it and I don't know how to backup my iPhone on the computer… I'm 16 and am not! Technology illiterate I just am not 100% sure what the correct way to backup all my stuff is… Help please
Plug iPhone to computer, open iTunes, look for your phone in there, than sync. Make sure you sync contacts, while your at it you can put a playlist on your phone if you got enough free space

- Restore iPhone backup from different computer? I should be getting the iPhone 5 today at work. My current iPhone is on Mac and at work we used windows. We do not have Wi-Fi at work but I would like to restore and start to use the iPhone 5. What I was thinking of doing is backing my iPhone in iTunes and putting on a portable drive and restore it on an windows based iTunes. Will this work? I don't want to convert the iPhone to windows.
