How to block an app on iphone?
The details are kind of embarrassing so I don't really want to explain why but I'm looking for a way to "block" a certain app on my iphone. Ideally I would like a way to make it so I can't download it at all but having the app and just not being able to use it will work as well. I'm willing to jailbreak my phone if there's a better way to do it like that. If jailbreaking is the way to go I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction to jailbreak the latest firmware but I'm sure I will be able to figure that part out.
Go to Settings - General - Restrictions try those options there to see if that can help you.
- In the Jailbreak community there are lots of apps that can help you block certain apps, iblacklist is my favorite but you can google more.
Get an android.

- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
- Is there any way or an app for iPhone to block calls from people? I keep getting spam calls from telemarketers, is there any way at all to block their calls? Calling 7 days a week gets terribly annoying.
- Is there an iPhone app that allows you to block photos? I've tried a few and they're all complicated. They make you transport all your pictures into an app instead of locking the photos on the iPhone. I want it to lock the photos as soon as you click on the photo app. I want it to ask for a passcode to access the pictures ON the phone itself, NOT through an app. Like a feature or something? My sister always goes into my pictures when she uses my phone to talk to my dad and sees my private pictures.
- Is there an app that can block calls that are on Iphone? This same number keeps calling me and its really annoying. I don't want to change my number because then i would have to update everyone with the new number and its such a hassle. So what apps can i use? i used to have an android and used "mr.number" but unfortunately that's only a smartphone app:/
