How to bypass iCloud screen permanently?

My friend gave me a iPhone and it's stolen I know who the original owner of the phone is its just i don't know if she'll delete the iCloud account for me to use it! Could I go to best buy? Could they do something?

There are steps on YouTube to find the email of the owner of the iPhone and you can send them an email asking for the info.

There's no way to bypass iCloud though. A company used to hack the server but Apple quickly patched it. You can still sell the device for parts on ebay but the motherboard is useless.

However when i try to access voiceover by pressing the home button 3 times, i can't get to voice over, only back to the emergency call screen. Any help? FYI got the phone from a second hand phone shop, and don't lecture me about checking the phone first, i already learnt from my mistake
