How to camp outside a store?

Ok, so here's the story. The iPhone 5 is coming out this Friday, and I'm planning on camping outside the AT&T store Thursday night so I will be able to buy one. And I'm gonna be there from about 4 in the afternoon until 8 in the morning. So that's about 15 hours of being there. So, my question is, what all do I need to know? I've never done this before. How will I go to the bathroom? What should I bring to eat? How should I prepare for the cold weather? I probably can't bring blankets, because I will need to carry everything i brought, into the store. So please just tell me everything I need to know about this whole thing. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome! 10 points best answer! I live in Wisconsin so it will be cold for sure. Should I even try to sleep? What should I do with my money so it doesn't get stolen? Etc… Sorry I'm unsure what category to put this in…

I've never done it before, so sorry! I might do it for the iphone 5 though. Or just wait till night when most of the line is gone.ahh i can't wait. But just saying, @the other answer - it's not just a phone. Its the IPHONE. And you know what? Half the anticipation of it is the camping and waiting on line. It's the whole thing. It would be boring if you just received it and went home.

If you bring 2 woll blankets you can put one on the ground as insulation and padding. You can pee in a bottle inside the "tent" of the other blanket. When it is time to go inside the store you can roll them up, tie it with a rope and hang the roll over your shoulder or on your back. Bring a trash can liner so you can put all your waste in it and drop it in the trash can on your way in. If you can't figure out what to eat over one night, you don't deserve a fancy phone. Bring a jug of water.

If you haven't already pre-ordered one, then you are probably hosed. They have already sold more than they made, so you will have to wait until October.

  • Would you say waiting 2 weeks outside store to buy an item is dumb? Example - waiting or camping to buy an iphone. - waiting outside for the black Friday event. Is it worth it? Let's say your per hour at work is $7. That 56/day. $280 a week. $560 in two week. So if you missed work for those days that 560 in loss.
  • Will my iphone work as normal outside the UK? I'm going to Holland in a few weeks and I'm planning on taking my iphone with me. Will my phone still work as usual whilst i'm out of the UK? And will I still be able to use 'Find my iphone' in case I lose it while I'm in Holland?
  • Why do people camp outside apple shops foe iphone 6? I mean i love my iphone i have 5s and thinking of getting 6 plus or whatever they called it, but there's no way i'll camp outside for two weeks, i get that they want to be the first ones to get it but i mean they only be first one of that store and they can only brag about it for like 5 mins will next person buys one. Wtf… Is there a shortage on them or something lol?
  • Why can't the Iphone download anything outside of the Apple Store? After having the Iphone 5 for nearly 2 years now, I don't understand why anyone would want to deal with iphone. You can't download anything, movies, music, or apps, outside of what's in the Apple store. I'm hoping the iphone 6 will be different, if not, I'm about to switch to Samsung soon.
