How to Cancel this ebay listing?
I have purchased an iPhone from someone on ebay and paid straight away. 5 days later they sent me a message saying that they did not list the item and i should open a case to get it back. The money has come out of my account so I'm worried about clicking cancel purchase as that is usually for people who haven't paid yet. And If I return the item what happens there. I'm worried this person could be dodgy. Can someone help.
Tell the person to contact Ebay Account Security for a hacker if he didn't put up the listing. This has happened to me twice in 10 years. You can also call Ebay. What does your Paypal account say about having paid? You have to open a case for Item Not Received, then Ebay can sort it out.
If you have the item and your not happy with it, then you have to pay to have it shipped back to them, but if there telling you to file a case against them for a refund you can simply tell them to go into their PayPal account and issue you a refund for the purchase.
