How to change ICloud account?
My daughter and I have an Icloud account and we both didn't realize that we would be having to share everything; contacts, apps, etc. How can I get my own iCloud account without losing my contacts and the things I already have with the "joint" account? This seems to be a popular problem with iPhones. BTW, I have an IPhone 4s. Please walk me through it.
Well on the device you DO NOT want this current account to be on go to settings-icloud-delete account. It will give you the option to keep or delete. Of course you would keep but the information you don't want that was brought over would have to be deleted manually. You can create a new apple id at applied.apple.com
When it comes to stuff purchased from the itunes store make sure her account doesn't appear in settings-itunes&app stores and if it is sign out of it. But any stuff downloaded already from the store using her account is linked to that account and Can't be moved or transferred to another account. And no one in Apple can do it either. It will stay but if you have to update an app in the future you will need the other accounts password
After that just create the new account and sign back in in the sections I brought up.

- How to change the icloud account on my iphone 4? So I decided to switch phones with my mom. And there's one problem… I connected my icloud account to her phone ( because it asked me to do so as soon as I put in my sim card) but can't change my account on my mom's phone, so everything that she does will be going to my icloud account. How do I change the account? I went to setting-->mail, contacts--->and added a new icloud account, but it doesn't seem to work… Help!
