How to change my Apple ID email?
I had an iPod and I used to use the Message app to text other people using my email as send&receive. Then when my dad and I first got our iPhones, we both used the same email(my email, because I got the phone first) address to set the phones up, and now you are probably wondering why using the same email… Well because the phone wouldn't let my dad to create his own apple account using his email, and it worked when we tried using mine and my password. So then somehow he could finally create his own apple ID using his own email later in the process and I went straight using my email(because I had an iPod and I just used the email on the iPod). Now I just noticed every time I send messages to my iPod, my dad would get the messages too. I'm very confused, and I tried to changed it in his account but I just couldn't figure it out. Can anyone help me please?
Go to iMessage settings on his iPhone and deselect your email addresses/numbers.
Go to iCloud settings on his iPhone and make sure you're logged out of your account (your email) on his phone.
- Locked out of Apple ID and 'use a rescue email' button won't work on Apple ID? I had gotten a new iphone and forgot the answers to my security questions to my Apple ID and locked myself out of my Apple ID account. No biggie, I tried just resetting my questions like I've done in the past, but this time, the 'use a rescue email' button won't work. Whenever I clicked on it, it did nothing. I tried resetting my phone and after that didn't work, I got on my laptop and the same thing was happening. Any suggestions or fixes?
- How to open images in my email sent to me on an iphone (via email)? Someone sent me images to my email via their iphone. I can't open the images. How can I open them, using a computer to open the email/images?
- How to change the apple ID in Apps Store after i change it in my Settings? I changed my apple id because my previous email address is no longer existing, now whenever i try to update my apps in App Store, it still shows my old apple id and asking for the password of it; apparently i have a wrong apple id because that is not my current one. I tried to log out and log-in just to see if this will work but nothing changes. Now, i have lots of apps to upgrade and i can't, i have an iphone 4 updated to iOS 7.1.2.
- How come Outlook email doesn't show up in my iPhone email app? The Outlook email doesn't show in the email app, but all other email shows no problem. I've even downloaded other email apps, and it doesn't show in those either. I've deleted the account in settings and put it back in and that doesn't work. How can I fix this.
