How do I Change my password for my apple I. D on my iPhone?

I know you have your AppleID registered in your iPhone settings, but it's not clear whether you'd like to change the password in general or if you'd like to change the password using nothing but the iPhone.

I'm going to assume you'd just like to change the password. I'm also going to have to assume you know the current password and just want to change it.

Visit appleid.apple.com and manage your account. Login using your current AppleID username and password. Click on Manage Account. Change Password.

My sister has my mums old iPhone which has my stuff logged in and she told me she could see my messages and I got a little freaked out and I wanna know if Apple logs you out automatically if you change your password ;-; (The phone is supposed to be mine soon.)
