How to change the APN on an iphone 3gs?

I have an unlocked iphone 3gs from AT&T that I'm now using on Straight Talk. The only problem is now I can't send or receive MMS messages due to the fact that the APN is still registered as AT&T and not Straight Talk. Is there anyway to be able to change my APN?

The MMS proxy can be replaced with it's DNSname mms2.tracfone.com:80 and it will also work.

  • Would changing your iphone APN get you unlimited data? So i have a att 300mb data plan and i hate it. I want unlimited though i heard if you goto unlockit website it changes your APN so you can go on the internet for free. Will changing apn make my data unlimited. My iphone is jailbroken btw.
  • Straight Talk iPhone 4S APN? My data works perfectly fine, pictures don't send though. What are the Straight Talk APN settings for the AT&T Straight Talk SIM card not the T-Mobile Straight Talk SIM?

  • Is VPN the same as APN settings on an iPhone 5? My iPhone 5 on Straight Talk has VPN settings instead of APN. I want to have Internet and MMS on my phone, but I don't know if the VPN and APN are the same! Please help! Also, if you know, what are the Straight Talk APN/VPN settings if they're the same thing?
