How to clean an iPhone home button from ink?

I left my iPhone in my pocket and I also had a pen in there.So, when I took out my iPhone it was compleatly cover in ink because my pen had leaked. The phone was alright because it had a cover and case but the home button was compleatly ruined I managed to clean it but it stayed a shade of light blue… Until finally it came out but around the button there's some ink! It's really annoying me and I really want it gone! Is there any way I can clean it myself, replace it or do something else?

I don't think you can clean ink from that. Try to google that & see what comes up.

  • I did the iphone crack ink thing? But I hate it. Is there any way to some how take out the ink or the best way to cover it up? (its a tiny crack in the bottom corner) I know I'm not supposed to color the front but I did it on the FRONT. Next to the home button. ANY SUGGESTIONS! … Its actually ink like sharpie ink. You know the thing ppl do when they crack their phone, they color inside the cracks…
  • My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!

IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
  • Is the iphone 5s' home button bigger than te iPhone 4S home button? Need As soon as possible me and my brother are getting into a fight about it cuz he said he's going to change the 4s home button to the 5s home button
