How to completely close out of apps in iOS 6?
I own an iPhone 4G and I recently upgraded to iOS 6 and I wanted to ask, how do I completely close out of an app on iOS 6? Because I've tried double tapping twice and then clicking the x on the apps, but it still seems to come up in notifications (for example when i get a new Kik/Facebook Message) and that takes data, is there any way to completely close out of the apps? (As I said I've tried pressing the home button twice and making the apps wobble and then clicking the x, still doesn't work, still comes up in notification centre)
Go in settings and turn off the notification for that app or all
- Why does gmail sign me out of my account every time I close my safari app on my iphone? This is a recent development and I'm starting to get really irritated. It started happening today after I cleared my history. Before today, I could close all my apps and when I opened them I would still be logged into my gmail account. This is no longer the case, and I'm not sure why. I cleared my cache and enabled cookies, so I don't understand why gmail is doing this. I've probably tried logging into my gmail account 10 times trying to fix this.
- Whenever I double-tap on the home button on my iphone, it doesn't let me close apps? Usually you just double-tap the home button, the app windows come up, and you can swipe them up to close them, right? I'm not sure what happened but nothing happens when I do this now. Also I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but imessage is kind of screwed up too, because whenever I try to type something, the text box covers up the latest text. So if you know what's going on, please tell me what I need to do to fix this, Thanks!
- My IPhone works completely fine sometimes but a lot of times I can't use it and it's completely unresponsive to my touch? I scheduled an appointment to fix my very cracked screen and I was just wondering if this will fix my problem for sure or is there something else that may be causeing the screen to be unresponsive?
- My iphone screen is very dark, but if I look very close, I see the apps slightly? My iphone screen is very dark but I still see the buttons slightly, but I have to look very closely in order to. It is definitely not the brightness, because the brightness is set to 100% and its way too dark anyway. I tried restoring my phone and turning it on and off, but nothing is working. Please help. What do I do? I literally threw it out of anger and its fixed.
