How to connect iphone to multiple speakers?

What i'm trying to get at is if there's a way to connect my iphone to play music on a surround sound system for example, but wirelessly through Wi-Fi or bluetooth capability.
I'm plannig on moving into a house with some friends and we want to get a surround sound system to place speakers throughout the living room/ dining room/ kitchen and be able to connect to it wirelessly, so we don't have to risk losing our phone or getting it stolen if we have parties (we're college students)

Links would be helpful if there are products out there

There are products such as the Logitec Wireless Music Link that should work for you. Http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-speaker-adapter This is a Bluetooth link for connecting music from your phone to a Hi-Fi. They're cheap too. You can get this at BestBuy for around $40.

There are a couple of things to bear in mind: Your phone will need to stay close enough to maintain a Bluetooth link. Any phone/tablet can pair with the device, but if someone else pairs with it then your phone will be knocked off and replaced.

As for speaker wiring in a student house, if you want the same sound playing all the way through the living room / dining room / kitchen then you should really wire all the speakers back to one amp that can power the whole lot at the same time or wire from the Bluetooth link to multiple sound systems. If Bluetooth audio is your quality benchmark then I'd suggest splitting the audio from the wireless link three ways. You can do this cheap with a multi-way headphone splitter. Here's a clearance deal at BestBuy http://www.bestbuy.com/...Id=8735684 Add some long audio cables with the appropriate ends to feed each room's audio system. This is probably your lowest cost, simplest, and most flexible solution. The small amount of work running the cables pays off because you can use any speaker system from inexpensive PC speakers through to a home theatre surround kit or DJ rig. Each speaker kit can play at its own volume. When you are not in party mode you can still use the sound systems in each room independently with a local source. This means you don't have to have the same sound blasting out everywhere when you just need music or TV audio in the living room for example.
