How to convert a voice memo to mp3? (not an iphone)?

I don't have an iphone btw, I used a samsung galaxy II phone. I'm wondering how I can convert a voice memo into an mp3 file for my computer so I can use it on Windows Movie Maker. Windows Movie Maker only supports mp3 files.

If you can get the memo into your computer, you can use Pazera's Audio Extractor/Converter to convert it to mp3. Pazera is free and portable (doesn't install on your computer). I've used various versions of it for the past 6 years.

I made this tutorial showing how to download and use it to convert an audio file to a WAV file but the steps are the same for making mp3s - just choose "mp3" instead of "WAV". The link to the download page is in the Description.

Have you looked in the Android App Store for audio converters? Go to play.google.com and type audio converter in the search box. You'll still have to move the file into your computer.
