How to convince my parents to get me a iPhone X?
A few years ago was my bar mitzvah and I made a few thousand dollars. Some of my friends have the IPhone X and it is so cool
I asked my parents if I can use my money to buy myself one and they said absolauntly not and I really want one
If you earned money it then it is your money to spend. If you gave money you earned to your parents then they have it now and it is up to them.
I'd also say surely there are better things to spend money on.
You're Jewish. You should be able to buy your own.
You can find just as much pleasure with a iphone-7. And save the money toward your education.
simple reason. Six months from now, there will be some new gadget and iphone-x will be history. And, not only that, apple will slow down iphone-x access via software updates. As they have done since inception of the iphone.
in other words. Stop wasting your money on new gadgets that become antiques within a year or less. Your parents are much wiser and more practical than you.
