How to create a reminder on ios 7 on the iphone 4?

Double tap on the open space. I have the iphone 5 and it took me awhile to figure that out.

Reminder apps. On start up of computer? Due to a brain injury I have severe short term memory loss. I'm looking for an app that will pop up a to do list when I turn on my computer. Preferably dated so I can fill in items on a "need by" status. Something that would not be to confusing, (another little side affect of the injury)

IPhone Cancelling Reminder Alarms? I have an iPhone 4S with iOS7. Whenever I try to create an alarm for a reminder, no sooner do I set up the alarm, the iPhone will cancel the alarm. It will keep the reminder within the list, but it will cancel the alarm. I've tried multiple times restarting my phone, but to no avail. Has anyone had this problem before? Solutions?
