How to create apple ID without a credit card on iPhone?
My phone is an IPhone4 and I want to download a music app that's free. My dad doesn't let me use his credit card. I'm just gonna download free apps. And there's no 'none' button.
It doesn't work like that you need a credit card/ debit card to make an account with apple. That's just the way they have it. You can't really get around it. Talk to your dad and tell him that apple/ iTunes won't charge him a penny unless an app is bought or a song. And tell him that he can trust you not to download any apps that require money. Let him now how useless iPhones are without apps and how totally responsible you will be.
I was also stuck into the same situation! But than I tried again and here is the solution:
I Installed iTunes, clicked on App Store, tried to install i Book (free app), it asked me to sign in or create an ID, signing in did not work so I clicked on create new apple ID (with a different email address of course), gave my info and when asked about billing info I chose none (it was available but last time when creating without trying to download a free app it was not available), it asked me to confirm via a mail message and I did, then went back to iTunes and it said Congratulations! Then clicked continue shopping and everything went well.

- ITunes Gift card instead of Credit Card? I found some things that i have been wanting on the iTunes store but i do not have a credit card registered with my account. If i were to buy an iTunes gift card, would that work in lieu of the credit card requirement? Also, the apps that i want to get are for the iPhone. But now, there are those and are required to be filled up. My sister can't register an apple id for her new iphone and its driving her crazy. Can anyone help?
