How to darken my background on my pictures like on tumblr?
I really want to darken my background like the girls do on tumblr and I need help cause I can't find any photoshop online that does it cause they usually ask to pay and downloading takes forever so is there maybe any apps on an iphone that will do that or any free website, please answer as soon as possible thanks.
Example of what I want: 
It's not an app. Use flash to illuminate the subject only, and shoot in front of a dark background.
It's not done by an 'app' - it's done in camera.
Have the background very far away (preferably dark in colour) and the flash light close to the subject (so that the falloff is rapid).
Same principle here (this was shot in a 'normally' lit room & by controlling exposure of the ambient & the flash, you can effectively 'kill' the ambient & turn the b/g black);
Your image reference was taken in dark, no lights, only camera lighting for portrait pose,
all back ground is so low, gamut black out any colour except device poorly,

- What is a good app for Instagram to make our pics look like tumblr ones? I have an Instagram account and I see all these pictures that have thick white boarders at the top and bottom. I was wondering what app you could download for an iPhone that did that so it looked like a tumblr picture.
