How to decrypt iphone backup without iphone?

I recently switched from iPhone 5 to the Galaxy Note 3. I had to sell my iphone in order to be able to afford the Note. I was just going to use Samsung Smartswitch to transfer my iphone backup to my Note. However I forgot that the backup was encrypted and I can't do it because of that but I've already shipped the phone. Is there any way to decrypt the backup without having the iphone?

You can download a program called Backuptrans iPhone Data to Android Transfer to help. It lets you switch data from encrypted iphone backup to your Android device. You just need to enter your encrypted password when loading data from backup. See the following tutorial:

  • IPhone 3GS backup without iTunes? OK, my situation is that I want to backup my contacts, pictures, videos etc. Without using itunes ( I've never synced to iTunes with my phone so in order to update it I would have to ultimately sync and wipe all the information).So, if anyone knows a program that will backup all the information that I can restore from after an OS update it would be greatly appreciated
