How to delete All music off your iphone?

I got apple music which is freaking grand. I planned on wiping my old and unwanted music out of my phone and at first it worked so I was aokay with that. HOWEVER in order to use apple music you have to activate the cloud. Welp after I activated apple music again on my phone every FREAKING song is back. I have over 700 songs and the only way I can delete them is one by one. I can't believe that Apple would make something so simple so aggravating so I have to be missing something. If you know how to delete all the songs PERMANENTLY please tell me. I've tried EVERYTHING. And i'm a little ticked off.

Apple uses the iTunes Store to save all your Purchases, and it sounds like it is auto-SYNCing everything you ever purchased right back to your iPhone.

So, open up iTunes, and log-in to the iTunes Store > Purchases to see if that is the case. If you have music on your iPhone that is NOT listed in Purchases, I'm barking up the wrong tree.

But, if they appear to match, in the iTunes App, click on the Help Tab and look for How to use Manual SYNC. Here is a great link to iTunes Videos on Youtube
