How to delete saved messages?
I have the iPhone 5 on iOS 7 and I'm all out of space. The reason being 5gb of saved messages. I have no messages in the app so how do i permanently delete those messages and open up some space?
A large number of message cache Image and videos take up most of the messages space. Just remove them, and you'll release almost all of the message space.

- When I delete this iPhone game, will my progress be saved? I have Real Racing 3, and it's linked to my Game Center account. If I delete the game, and then download it back again, will my progress be saved?
- My MacBook hasn't saved some messages from my iPhone? I'm using Macbook air and iphone. I updated it recently so devices are all new versions. The problem is there's no message saved for few days. It hasn't saved since few days ago and has started to save from today so i have all messages i've sent today. Is there any way to save them manually?(not iTunes but iMessage!)
- Is it safe to delete photos that I saved to a thumb drive? I have no space on my phone (iPhone 5s if it matters) so I used my charger to hook my phone up to my laptop and copied all my pictures into a thumb drive there. I want to delete all the pictures on my phone now, but I'm really worried. These pictures have so many memories that I do not wish to loose, so if I delete them will they still be safe on my thumb drive?
- IPhone says I have 4.0 GB in Messages (Saved)? On my iPhone 5s in Settings>Usage it says there's 4.0 GB of Messages (Saved). I hardly have any messages on my phone so I'm wondering how to maybe fix this problem? I know that you can still see deleted message in spotlight search so is there maybe a way to delete those permanently?
