How to delete songs from iPhone? - 2
The music that I have on my iPhone is taken from 5 playlists on iTunes, one of which has all of the music that I listen to on it. I have 5 songs that I don't like any more that I have been trying to delete, but every time I sync, they redownload. I have checked and none of them are in any of the 5 playlists. Even when I manually delete them from the music app, they try to download again when I sync. In iTunes, my iPhone is set to sync only those playlists and nothing else. My phone is running the most recent update of iOS 6.
Added (1). To be clear, it does not work when I swipe songs to delete them, as they redownload when I sync with iTunes.
Just go to the songs you don't want and swipe left over it, then just click delete. Simple!

I would just delete the songs from your iTunes Music Library on iTunes and then go to Edit at the top of iTunes and click on Preferences and then go to Devices and click the box that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" Then re-sync your library with the songs you want on your iPod. If iTunes tries to re-download the songs you don't want stop the download manually so it doesn't add to your Music Library.
- Need to add new songs to iphone without deleting old songs So my old computer crashed and with that i lost all my music that was downloaded to itunes, so i only have those songs saved to my iphone now i just spent $25 on my computer downloading music, but when i went to download it onto my phone it said it didn't match up with this computer and that in order to sync new songs it would delete my entire music library on my phone! I really don't want to lose all my music but i also want my new songs on my phone!
- ITunes won't download all the songs to my iphone 6s after transffering my list of songs from my old macbook to my PC I transferred my list of songs from my old Macbook to my PC with iTunes. For some reason, iTunes won't download ALL the songs to my iPhone 6s from my PC. For example if I want to download a whole album it will only download few songs from that album. - If I delete songs off of my iPhone, will it delete them off of my iPod, too? My iPod and iPhone is connected to the same account. However I want my songs on my iPod but not on my iPhone. If I delete it off my iPhone will it take it off my iPod too?
