How to delete songs on my iPhone 4?

I have already tried sliding my finger over the song so the delete button will come up but that dosent work. I have alson tried taking all my songs off using my computer, by syncing my phone and taking off all the songs but that didn't work either. Is there anything else? Please comment and thanks! Xx

If you can't slide to get the delete button there's probably something wrong LOL. But as a quick fix you can make a new account on your computer/use another computer and sync it with the empty iTunes, then it will do the "Erase all and sync with new library" thing… Hopefully someone else help haha that's like the weirdest suggestion…

@Mark he's probably on an old firmware that's why he can't slide delete his songs, not necessarily anything wrong with his iPhone

I would recommend you to either update your iPhone's ios then slide delete your music, or when you connect your iPhone to you Computer, click on your iPhone's name on the sidebar and then click on Music on top of the screen and disable "Sync Music", I have never tried this but i assume it will work, if it doesn't Just go with Mark's way… I'm consuming that you want to delete all of your music… If your trying to delete some of your music, you can either:
A) delete the songs you want to delete from your iphone from your computer's itunes and then connect your iphone to the computer and sync
r
B)connect your iphone to your computer, open itunes, click on your iphone's name on the sidebar, click on music on the top of the screen, click on "selected playlists, albums, artists and genres", and select the music that you want to KEEP on your iphone, and then sync
