How to disable the mute button on an iPhone when on a call?
So many times when I'm on a call, my ear will tap against the screen and inevitably hit the mute button so the other person can't hear me. It's actually unbelievably annoying. There should be an option to just lock all options on the screen while on a call if you want! I've a 3GS, is there a way to disable the mute option when on a call?
No there's not, but your phone should auto lock when the proximity sensor detects it getting closer to your ear. If it is not doing this properly then your best bet would be to take it into an apple store to get repaired or replaced. But that is the only way to lock the options on the screen.

My current phone keypad on the iPhone 6s Plus only shows 1-9,0 *, and # buttons.
- IPhone 4 issues, sound, camera, mute button Are these common issues: 3 months ago I had no sound coming from the speakers which fixed its self. Occasionally my camera screen goes black and only works if I leave it for 30 mins. Now when I tap the side the mute switches on and off and goes crazy. Are these common faults or should I seek manufactures warranty as only had the phone for 5 months.

We talk on the phone constantly and I think it irritates him and me at that!
