How to do three way calls on iPhone 5/4?

My friend wants to call someone, then add me to the call. How does this work? On both iPhone 4 & 5?

  • Who knows I was in the three-way call? We all have iphones, and I was talking to one person when they added another person in when I was away from my phone, but will it tell the third person that I was in the call?
  • When I make calls on my iPhone 7, the sound is very low, although the volume is all the way up Unless I put it on SPEAKER, I can hear it ok? As soon as the call goes on speaker I can hear who I'm calling perfect. If its not on speaker I hear their voice VERY VERY LOW, although the volume is all the way up. I have tried moving my settings around and such, I can't find a solution.

Ok, so I need a type of videochat but i need to be able to video call someone from my iphone to their laptop i don't know if there are any possibilities other than Sk) pe because it is a three way video call i need and skype does not allow this so if you hav any ideas please write below and i will rate the first good comment as top answer yayy xxx.
  • Making 3 way or conference calls on the iPhone? I'm so lost when it comes to conference calls. They don't seen to work as easily as an other phone. When I'm on the phone with someone and add someone else I merge the calls but then I can't seem to end the call with one person and continute talking with the other like the swap option is grayed out so I press end and everyone gets disconnected! Then I could be on the phone already and get a call and when I try to merge the call this option is like grayed out! Why is this?
