How to downgrade from final iOS 7?
Hi, I'm using an iPhone 4 GSM. I updated the phone to the official iOS 7 through iTunes (not the beta version). I don't like the new look and its lags, really. I tried downgrading it by shift+clicking on "Restore iPhone" button and then selecting the IPSW file but it says "3194 error" (bleh:/).
I googled it and learnt that apple has stopped signing 6.1.3 and 6.1.4:(
Is there any other way to downgrade it?
This only just one way you can downgrade it. You can also use iTunes to downgrade your iPhone again.
It is not a good idea, you can do factor reset to go down but in near future apple will stop users from signing into the iOS 6 as what the sources tell on the web http://readwrite.com/2013/09/24/apple-ios-7-no-downgrade
Download the IOS6 file from somwhere on google… Then switch off your phone… Then put your phone into recovery then connect it to your computer ie itunes… Then hold down windows or option(for mac) key and click on restore then choose the ios 6 file… And wait…

The thing is that my iPhone is locked to ORANGE UK and the IMEI unlock just won't happen anytime soon so i'm using a Gevey ultra S right now on IOS 5.1.1, I wanna update to IOS 6.1.2 so as to preserve my jailbreak and see if the Gevey functions on IOS 6, But if it doesn't i shall restore it to 5.1.1 again… Any way around this?
