How to earn for a data plan?
So, I'm 13 and I want a smartphone. I'm very mature and responsible and I always get 90+ grades. Almost all of my friends--some who are not so mature--have smatphones. My parents said if it won't cost them I can get one. I need $30 per month since that's the cost of a data plan. My contract ends in September and I'll get the iPhone 4 since it's free. I just need help getting the money for the data plan! I want to know if there are any jobs I could do at my age. Nothing such as lemonade stands because they almost never bring in profits with the money you spend. Please don't post any rude comments.
Go cut people's lawns
Babysitting, mowing lawns/general yard work, scooping snow. You could also ask people you know if they need help cleaning out their garage/attic. You could also look in your paper for one day jobs. Where I live some businesses hire kids to hold up signs on the weekends to advertise sales that they are having.
Since you will not get the phone until September you have plenty of time to start earning money. You will need to earn $400 for one year or $800 for the entire contract.

Does it use up data to have multiple internet browsers open even though I only look at one at a time? Is it possible to use up data when the phone is off? Also, is taking a picture, playing app games, listening to music, and siri considered to be "data" on the data plan? Is there an overall explanation for what a data plan is?
