NO WAY… You can only restore the whole thing and then delete all the attachments 1 by 1. If you even try going in to the back up folder you will for sure damage the whole restore and not ever be able to restore again.
I want to as well. You can view your data with iPhone Backup Extractor but that doesn't help me cuz I need to EDIT the files.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- Is it possible to get video off of my iPhone, then edit it on my computer? I don't have a mac, so I figure that might be a set back? I want to record on my iPhone 4s, then upload it on my computer to add music, make cuts, and add effects. How do I do this?
- If I restore my iPhone will it restore other devices using the same apple ID? My mum using the same apple ID as me an is worried that if I restore my phone then it will delete all of her photos and stuff to. Our phones are kind of linked through the ID but that's all.
