How to factory reset a iphone 4g. It won't turn on?

Can i do it from turning it on, same as a samsung galaxy?

You have to press both the Home button and Power button at the same time for a very long time. Until it turns on. Once it does, you go into "Settings," and then the "Reset" option should be in there somehwere. I used to have one, too.

Remove the battery and then put it back again?

Well if it doesn't turn on then hold the power button and home button same time if it still doesn't work the n plug it into itunes wait for computer to detect it, if it doesn't then you have to put it in DFU mode, when itunes shows your iphone it will tell you to restore it. Done!
