How to factory unlock a sprint iphone 5?
I live in texas and yesterday i bought a sprint iphone 5 thinking that i could somehow factory unlock it to use it with ATT (go phone) straight talk or metro pcs (i already have metro and i want to get away form it). After searching the internet for hours i have not found a solution. Can someone help me? Any recommendations? Thank you so much for your help!
ps. The reason why i don't want sprint is because its expensive.
Unfortunately, even if you unlock the Sprint iPhone 5, it will only be unlocked to international GSM carriers. The only version of the iPhone 5 that already comes factory unlocked and can be used on domestic GSM carriers (as well as international GSM carriers) is the Verizon iPhone 5. I would return it immediately (you have 14 days with Sprint) and go to Verizon and get it there. See link the source below for proof and info.
