Sorry it won't work. Sprint uses CDMA network while T Mobile uses GSM network. Both are different network and are not compatible with one another. So a Sprint cell phone will not work on T-Mobile whether it unlock or lock.
You're lucky I found this question. Lol. My iPhone was originally on the Sprint network. I bought it from a Sprint store back in 2011. Since last year, I've been using this Sprint iPhone 4s on the tmobile network. Anyways, what I did was jailbreak the iPhone, then I used the gevey sim for CDMA networks so that I can then use it on t-mobile. Remember though, the iPhone 4s must be on iOS 5.11 unless there's a gevey sim for the newer iOS, which I haven't found out of yet.
