I heard that there are some iPhone data recovery apps which claim to be able to that. What is one that you can recommend to me?
Did you just delete them because if you deleted them there should be a folder in the photos app that says recently deleted or something like that. My iphone 6 has that folder so when I delete pictures they go into that folder and stay there for up to a month or until I go in there and delete them permanently. Hope that helps.
That's right. There's a Recently Deleted folder in Photos app, it will keep your deleted photos 30 days, and you can check your deleted photos there to get back the photos you need. If you did't find photos there, you can try to use a tool like PhoneRescue to get back your photos. Don't worry, you will get back your precious photos. Next time, remember to save the photos on your computer or back up on your iCloud.
