How to fix an iphone 4 dropped in the toilet?
It's been 4 months since I dropped it. I got another phone but it doesn't hold a charge well. I tried socking it in rice for about a day an it didn't work.
You have to put it in rice for a full 24 hours.
Put it in a bag of rice and do not open the Ziploc bag for 24 hours. Make sure its barried in the rice
It can be repaired, show it to service center
More than likely, the motherboard is fried… If not corroded by now. I would try cleaning the motherboard in a 90% or better isopropyl bath, and replacing the battery. But I would not hold my breath while waiting for it to turn on. Batteries for iphones cost anywhere between $10-$20USD on ebay.
Is your contract up? If so Iphone 4 is free with a 2 year contract, just do that and get a new one.

Saves you the trouble of trying to sell it and even if damaged something is better then nothing.
