How to fix mt iphone 5 rear camera?
My Iphone 5 rear camera all of a sudden stopped working.
When I go into for example the camera app, It just shows a black screen, and the whole app freezes.
The same thing happens if I go into any other app like "snapchat".
I tried facetimeing, and the front camera works perfectly, but when I try to shift to the rear camera the same thing happens… I don't know why this is happening, it just happened out of nowhere today and I don't know what to do. I have tried rebooting, restoring and updating the software to the latest ios 7.
And nothing works…
You probably need to replace the rear camera. It seems like it went out. Did you try FaceTime app? Does your front cam work.
Sounds like your rear camera died. If the iPhone is under warranty, have it fixed.
- Why is my iphone 5 rear camera suddenly blurry? So it's not that it's dirty, I've tried cleaning it. It was literally fine yesterday but all of a sudden it like won't focus. When I first switch to the rear cam, for a split second it's fine. Then it just goes to being unfocused. Is it just a problem with the auto focus?
