How to fix text messaging on iPhone?

This has never happened before, but just a few minutes ago my friend texted my phone and it was sent to my sisters phone. I can send my friend messages off my phone but don't receive hers.Me and my sister have a shared Apple ID account and are on the same verizon phone plan. How can I get my messages back to normal?

Go into all your family phones under Settings-Messages and make sure that no one elses Apple ID or phone number shows up in another pesons phone. Also check the 'receive at' area in Settings-Messages as well. If they are showing remove them.
