How to fix this clash of clans loading error?

Clash of clans won't load?
Whenever I try to play Clash of Clans, the loading bar makes no progress no matter how long I wait. I'm at a resort in Mexico, using Wi-Fi, and all apps work except this one. For example I can obviously use the internet, Facebook, Textplus, instagram, etc., but not Clash of Clans. I'm not getting any pop up telling me I'm not connecting, it just won't work. I have restarted both the app and my phone, as well as delete and reinstall the app. I have also restarted all other apps (by means of double clicking the home button and deleting it there). I'm on an iPhone 4S and have full Wi-Fi, and my service is AT&T if that matters. Thanks in advance for the help.

Also, there's no update in the app store.

Hey man thank god i'm not the only 1 with this problem, the same thing happened to me and i have also done everything u listed to try to fix it but nothing worked… So i think either we should try erasing all data from ipod as in restore it the way you first bought it, but begore that mayb you should try connecting to a different Wi-Fi, i would go to a mall or somthing and see if there's free Wi-Fi and try to see if it works, if not then i'm just going to reset my entire ipod to its original state and just reinstall everything
