How to fix water damage on an iPhone 4S?
When I was in the bathroom, my brother pushed me and I dropped my phone in the toilet. I took it out, and washed it. Then when I turned the phone on, you can see everything, but there were air bubbles inside the screen. When I tried sucking the water out of it, that didn't work. And now my touch screen doesn't work correctly. Please Help!
Added (1). Also I don't get any cell service
LMAO XD omg thats funny
well there's no easy way to this but you have to figure out how to take the screen off and dry it from the inside
there's no other way
Well if you did water damage then its toast. Its doesn't matter what you do, you will need to take it to the apple store and let them look at how much damage is done.
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- How to fix water damage on Iphone 5? I know it will probably still be screwed but any tips other then just rice? I have insurance on it so I'll probably get a new one but the deductible is $180.
