How to get 4g lte on iphone 4s sprint?

Please help a friend told me that there's a way to turn iphone 4s. Sprint in to 4g lte. Can some one help.

Your friend is wrong.
LTE is only possible if the phone has an LTE chip. Which it doesn't.

Only 3g and sprint might only have 3 g in your area

The only way you can turn your 4s into a lte device is to trade it for an iphone 5

You take the phone apart. & put in this chip thingy. And put it back together.
And then turn it on.
You now have 4G LTE.

Why will my iPhone 5s only get 4G and not LTE? I purchased an iPhone 5s from the AT&T store 2 days ago and I can't get a LTE connection on my phone only 4G. My dad also went to get a 5c and his has LTE and is on the same bill I know I'm in an LTE area.
