How to get a job fixing electronics?

Recently fixed my broken iPhone, and it was fun taking it apart and reassembling it. Felt like it was a puzzle I was putting together and I enjoyed learning what all the different parts were and how to fix various common problems. I know craigslist is full of people advertising iPhone/electronics repair, but what kind of formal training could I get to expand my ability and become more legitimate?

  • I want to get into electronics repairs.how can I start? So I have been talking to one of my friends and he mentioned how he sold his broken iphone 4 with a cracked screen to someone and the guy fixed it and sold it making a few bucks out of it. I'm wondering if there's any way I could learn how to fix electronics (such as an xbox, ps3, phones, tablets etc) and if there are good places to go buy some broken electronics to fix. Do any of you have experience in doing this as a full time or a side job?
