How to get an MP3 file onto iPhone 5?
So I have a regular iPhone 5 (not 5s or 5c) and I'm having troubles getting mp3 files that i've converted from youtube onto my phone. I've been trying to use www.youtube-mp3.org but when I convert the song and get the MP3 file into my iTunes library, I can't get it onto my phone? My brother has an iPhone 4 and it works perfect everytime for him. We both have iOS 7.It also previously worked for him when he had iOS 6, and it still works now for him.
So just to make it clear, I can get the mp3 files into my iTunes library, but from there I can't get them onto my iPhone. How can I get them onto my phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also if it makes a difference, we use a laptop with iTunes 11.
Oh yes I have had this problem. Right click on the song in iTunes and it should say "Create___ Version" Click on that and it will create another copy of that song. Drag it to your iDevice.

- When you load an mp3 to iTunes, do you still need the original file? I download my music through other music downloading sites/stores and I only use iTunes to organize them and get the music to my iPhone. When I download these mp3's they are stored in my iMac's Downloads folder and I have a ton of music in that file. Do I still need these mp3's or can I delete the ones just floating around in my Downloads folder?

I tried playing the MP3s that didn't work in windows media player but they did not play.
