How to get better at singing when everyones saying I'm horrible?

I've been taking singing lessons for a few years & been singing my whole life or at least since I was about 4 in kindergarden in music class & my whole life I've been bullied my people in school & family even but music teachers would say that I don't have a bad voice but I have such low confidence in my self that I can actually sing
But then I go home & record my self over my stupid iPhone recording thing & I think I totally suck & I don't know if it's just me or my phone or would I sound better record In a studio & I have low self esteem & when people want me to sing for them I get so overly shy & scared & the few people that are close to me kinda they say not to listen to anyone says but it actually hurts so much & I cry & feel worthless especially if it your family it hurts even more & I've been hit before even for just wanting to sing & take lessons cause no one believes that I'll get anywhere & then they convince me to believe the same
How can I stop saying that I suck so much

If everyone says it, it might be true. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm really not. I don't think your family would purposely try to hurt you, ya know?

But it doesn't mean that you're less valuable than anyone else. You are a million times more valuable than the most expensive diamonds, did you know that? Maybe you can't sing well, or maybe you can't dance well, but you are very valuable. Don't forget that.

First of all, small iPhone recorders DO have VERY BAD recording quality anyway, so please do NOT rely on that.

Maybe you should get a second opinion from another vocal teacher? That might actually work. Or, you could join a choir in order to improve your musical ear. However, please ignore all those people who bully you, but, if another vocal teacher says that you are not for singing, then you might be not. And, if that is the case, please do not get upset, it is not your fault. Singing is just not for everyone.

It doesn't mean you are bad in singing. As you know singing well needs lot of practice. Just continue practicing. Most importantly you should not loose your confidence and your hope.
i have a very good stuff for you which i hope will be very useful. Okay, i don't need to tell more about it. Just download that from the below link. Its awesome and it will definitely help you.

Do you enjoy singing? If you enjoy singing then it is worth continuing with the lessons because this is something that you enjoy.

Not everyone who enjoys singing also enjoys singing solos on their own or with an instrument. Some people who have singing lessons and enjoy singing love to sing in a choir with lots of other people.

The next thing that you need to know is that very good musicians are hyper critical about how they sound, so your perception of how you sound when you hear a recording is not the same as everyone else. You hear all the mistakes or how it sounds to you, but no one else does this. To be a very good musician you have to be super critical of your performance because this is what drives you to improve. The very worst musicians are the ones who think that they are brilliant and don't need to practice anything because they can't hear their mistakes or they can't listen properly.

Now the next thing is that at school you are going to meet some very mean people. Some of these very mean people will be jealous of the fact that you are good at something that they can't do, and they are going to act in a way that isn't nice to you. Most people who are bullies are that way because there's something wrong in their lives, and they take it out on other people. A good target would be someone who is good at something that the bully wishes that they were, so in a twisted way the bullies are probably wishing that they were more like you.

To move forward from where you are now. Have a look to see if there's a community choir that you can join where people go to sing for fun. When you are in the choir ask all the people who want you to sing for them to come to your choir concerts so that they can hear you sing in the choir, this will help you to be less shy about singing in front of people. Carry on with the singing lessons because if you enjoy singing you will want to be the best that you can at it.

Most importantly remember that learning to sing takes a lot of years of lessons, and also remember that good musicians are very critical of how they sound so sometimes you have to think in terms of what you hear is not how other people think you sing.
