How to get better reception for iPhone 4?
I have a Verizon iPhone 4. I have service through Page Plus. I checked the antenna, and it's fine. Nothing wrong with the phone itself. How can I get better reception?
1. Install a cell phone amplifier in your home or other location. The cell phone amplifier's antenna will boost the cellular network's signal to give you better reception when using your iPhone.
2. Put the iPhone in a "booster" case which passively increases the cell phone's internal antenna's ability to receive the cellular network's signal.
3. Keep your iPhone as fully charged as possible--the more power the iPhone has, the stronger its transmission ability.
4. Turn off the 3G network on the iPhone from the "Network" screen inside the "Settings" app. Using the 2G network can improve the iPhone's reception since there are many areas where the 3G network's strength is low.
5. Signal strength issues can be resolved by resetting the iPhone. Reset the iPhone by holding down the "Sleep/Wake" button and the "Home" button until the "Reset" slider appears. Swipe the slider to shut down the phone. Press and hold the "Sleep/Wake" button until the Apple logo appears.

- Will the iphone 5c have better reception in my house than my iphone 4? Currently my calls always drop out and i have to go outside, i'm considering changing service providers however will a iphone 5c help my reception or should i change service provider?
- Will cell reception get better after I get an iphone5? I currently have a very cheap cell phone that I got for free more than 2 years ago which is not capable of 4G. Now, I'm considering upgrading to an iphone 5. Will that improve the reception and chances that I will get less dropped calls and other problems?
- Verizon iPhone 4 very slow with 3G reception? Even when I have a full 5 bars of reception on my Verizon iPhone 4, it can still take a very long time to load even the simplest pages or send messages. Usually when this happens, the circular revolving loading symbol that appears next to the "3G" will lag, it won't stay consistently turning which makes me think it's having a hard time loading pages. Also, my messages will sometimes send twice or reach the recipient hours after I send them a text.
